3 19" LCD or 2 20" LCD

Hi guys,

I have this nagging question that I want to share. Suppose you had $1500 of disposible cash lying around, which setup would you guys prefer.... 3 dell 1901FP or 2 dell 2001FP. I mean, if you think about it, buying three monitors is not that far fetched given the fact that the price of two bigger 20" is about the same price.

Other factors that I have to take into consideration....
- I dont play games
- most of the work i do in my computer are: programming, stock research + trading, browsing and email.

2x2001 FP

2 x 1600x1200 is about the same amount of screen real estate as 3x 1280x1024

also you can add the 3rd screen later

 
2 - higher resolution.

3 - more "space" to put stuff.

2 - Can add another later.

3 - Have all you'll need for a long time

2- less looking around

3 - easiar organization.

Basically, it comes down to whether you can read smaller fonts, or if you like more physical space.

Poll would have been a nice option.

I am not planning to get them right now. Most likely around mid year.
