Three machine activation limit. Will I likely go over that? No. Will I not buy the game because of more odious DRM. YEP.

Considering that DRM has never really stopped games from being copied, I just don't get it. All it does is annoy their legitimate customers.

And this is coming from someone who never pirates games.

3 machine activation limit. Probably would never exceed it and yet the "what if I do" sentiment relegates this to the only buy at $4.99 or so bin.

IIRC, the number of activations resets back to 3 after a few days. You can check the game's forums to be sure.

Many games with "limited" activations seem to work this way. Crysis, for example, has a SecuROM 5-machine activation limit, but I know I've installed it way more times than that (probably over a dozen times in the ~6 years that I've owned it). The activations appear to reset over time. I've never had an issue with the DRM.

Yeah, Ubi is notorious for their draconian DRM practices. Unless I can pick up their games for $5 or under I always pass.

Tempted to jump at the Deep Ocean Anno 2070 DLC. I don't know if it's worth the price even after discount though.

not quite just a few days, but you do get 1 activation erased every month for Anno

i played I AM ALIVE some time ago

while its interesting in some of its concept... the game is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too short and boring some times.

it took me like 3 hours to beat it (maybe 4)... i wouldnt buy it unless its like 2 dollars :p

Hmm...might bite on Rayman Origins...has it been cheaper previously yet? Just wish there was online multiplayer.

I've been wanting to try Anno 2070 for some time now. This is the first time since the steam holiday sale that I believe its been below MSRP

Hasn't been cheaper that I've seen, and it's the best platformer I've played in years. Already have it for the Vita but I'll buy it again at this price. Also in for From Dust at that price.

I liked Far Cry and hated Far Cry 2. I may or may not like Far Cry 3.

I think the prices are reasonable though, its more convenient than digging up that stupid disc every time.
