Notice Both CPU and GFX ran better after I Cleaned and installed 3.13 Mix
(I was unable to remove the base 2.03's without losing OS partition for over a year)

What's your mix Noid? I replaced the ethernet drivers with those in the 2.45 package and things sped right up for me. Did you go back to the old memory controller too?

Hey there.. Could you please let me know how to isntall the old ethernet drivers and where to get them, plz!! These new ethernet drivers suck hard!. They eat 5-10 % cpu for me! (I think they are the culprit)

Goto NforcersHQ

Drivers forum.
Mwarheads sticky at top of page. Mwarhead's site

Use the 2.45a 's

(make a backup if you can)

All you need to do is swap the Ethernet folders after unzipping them (dont install yet)

Then install.

Read up at Nforcers and Mwarheads site.
(there are issues with XP)

Well, the Mwarhead 2.45a Remix has the same memory controller drivers as the 2.45UDP and as the 3.13UDP. What is the benefit of using one over the others in this case?

Well ,,, I be damned ... I never looked at the versions.
All I know is I lost 200mb in bandwidth.

There are posts at NforcersHq saying the Ehernet is the culprit.
(which I replaced also)

So, I guess the MemCtrlr may not have been the issue.

So,,, I guess theres no point in the switch (on paper anyway).

I'm just telling you what I did ... exactly.

I hear ya Noid, I thought the Mem Controller was new too but yeah, it's the same in all the driver sets out there. I also switched out the ethernet drivers and got back a lot of lost performance. I'm not sure but I think I like the SW IDE drivers in this set. They're playing pretty nice with my NF7-S so far.

It could be that removing all that old crap ,,, and re-installing,,, made the difference also...

because the same 2.45a Ethernet driver and MemCtrlr was on that 1st benchmark.
