I would try and sell your sero plan online. I am sure there are many takers. I know the andoid phone is sweet but if you can hold out until december you can get the windows 7 phone on sero.

So far sero has not excluded any windows based phone. That is what I am doing at least. Right not I am out of contract with sero and refuse to buy any of the crappy phones available other than touch pro 2, but 350 is too much. Waiting for windows 7 and upgrading.

SERO has excluded all new smartphones on Sprint (Pre, Pixi, Hero...) since last summer, there's no way a new Windows 7 phone will be allowed.

it going to be interesting. I consider the TP2 a smart phone. A high end one. Hopefully we will get windows 7.

But if not, that is the price you have to pay for unlimited everything for 30 bucks. I will just have a crappy phone until the andoids, windows 7s, becomes crappy.

your best bet is to get over to the standard 69.99 a month everything data plan. then since your on sero you can pretty easily get retentions to offer you 20 off that per month for 2 years bringing your bill down to 49.99. from there depending on your "moral fiber" you can get 25% off your bill by using an employee discount from a place like accenture. or in the very least get the 15% credit union discount.

I did this but I added my GF to my plan an got the 129.99 family plan. after discounts it comes to 75 and change for both phones. as a bonus if you go the accenture route you can typically get smartphones for free to under 50 bucks as well. only paid 39.99 + 15 activation for my moment

www.sprintusers.com has a sero forum with experiences of people on that plan. was kinda sad to see my old plan go but it is what it is, they sell for about 75-100 and 24 $20 dollar credits was way more vaulable

I would leave it be. There is something very good about not being in debt. Although it may be un-American, it just feels good. :)

Credit union is 10%. I went a similar route. I have my $130 ED plan down to $94.

mine would of been 15 so I don't know if its different for different Credit Unions. but yeah this is really a great way to go and no other carrier can beat it on family plans. 80-95 bucks for 2 phones with 1500 min unlimited data and web is pretty hard to beat. hell VZW and ATT would charge that much for 1 phone.

I'm in the same situation..I think my plan is up in June. I can't stand my phone, but I really don't want to get a $70/mo plan. I guess I'll wait and see what's available then..maybe stick it out 'till the new 7 phones come out and see what kind of deal I can work for one of those.

You may have a couple 4G phones to choose from by them. The HTC Supersonic running Android, and rumored to be a 4G Palm WebOS phone of some sort (unknown if it would just be a Pre with a 4G radio in it or a new phone altogether).

Hmm I wonder if they'll allow either of those on SERO. If so, I might have to jump on one.

not a chance in hell lol, have a feeling tp2 will be the last smartphone they allow

I am getting that feeling too. I was hoping I would be able to pick up the htc hd2(windows 7 compat) but I doubt sprint is going to let that happen on sero.

or get the family plan for $109 and split it with 3 other people

But only if you trust them to actually pay you. :p

If you can get the $20/mo credit on the normal account, I'd try to go with that.
