I have a FlexATX motherboard with only 1 PCI slot. Is it possible to expand that to 2 or 3 by using a PCI Riser? I tried to read the ATX Spec document but got more confused :)

Thanks.

Probably the most comprehensive source for riser cards in the U.S. is here (btw, they have very friendly customer service):

Thank you for all your replies.

According to adexelec.com, the PCI risers have what they called "small paddle board" that might be needed for some dedicated signals. That's what confuses me.

I know some manufacturers don't make riser cards w/ the paddle boards, and some do.

I have several small FlexATX computers and I will be using more than one of these cards in each: Ethernet, video, DVD decoders, TV tuner, WiFi, and SCSI. Do you think those need paddle boards?

Thanks.

Sorry, I don't know enough about risers to even have a clue what you are asking?
