Who said anything about screenshots? Certainly not me.Again, if you cant notice it without taking screenshots
The difference between 2xAA and 4xAA is blatantly obvious in actual gaming, at resolutions far higher than 1600x1200. 1600x1200 is a middling resolution at best and displays heinous amounts of aliasing.
Also in certain situations 1920x1440 with 4xAA isn't enough and this is also obvious in actual gaming. I'd gladly take 2048x1536 with 16xAA but sadly it's not really a viable option except for really old games.
Elitist? Pu-lease. This thread is no different to the "you only need X FPS", you only need "X RAM/VRAM" and you only need "X resolution". A bunch of people grow an emotional attachment to some setting or hardware and try to convince the world that anything better than their example is useless.Im not trying to do anything, im sick of BFG being an elitist tool and saying his way is the only way.
Through nVidia's control panel. If you want 16xAA use something like RivaTuner.how do you get 8xAA?
