2x80 RAID0 vs 1x160

Hello, I wanna now what difference would I see using 2x80 RAID0 instead 1x160...in which aplication would the performance increase?

Woth to spend a bit more money (about 40%) for it?

Ive seen reviews, in test RAID0 is much faster than single disk..but how is it in real life?
 
it's not worth it. the larger the platter density, the faster the drive is, too, so 1x160 vs 2x160 you'll see a benefit, but i doubt you'd see any benefit going from 2x80 to 1x160
