Hi, sitting on a gigabyte z270p D3 and was going in the thoughts of upgrading ram.

Have 2x8 today and was figuring, now that 2x16 is available, why not aim for 48 gigs of ram riiiight!?! Right guys?

Do you think I would run across any compability issues even if I'm buying from same manufacturer issued with the same speed and Timings? Any downfalls in going assymetric?
 
Chrome and three users! It's like 150 open tabs and 16 gigs just don't cut it. Could go for 32, but if browsing eats 16.. I like to overdo it a bit..
Thanks, I think Ill give it a go, and if it dosen't work, I just rip the 16 gigs out.
