G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600 F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL 2x2GB Kit. Looking for site reviews, or personal experience with said kit.

Going with this combo deal:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboD...t=Combo.308218

And although there's a combo deal for just the PII X4 and EVO, I was going to buy a different Ripjaws kit anyway that was pretty similar. However I've heard both good and bad reports of people using this kit and board together. The worst report was with an Athlon II rather than Phenom II, and the others seem like people who can't manually set their BIOS for DDR3 1600 which won't be a problem for me.

But as always I like to do my homework and double check. If anyone has anything I should know about this kit, reviews I was unable to find (Haven't found any as of yet.) or general advice I'd appreciate it.

You might want to check the G.Skill tech support forum.

From a cursory glance, it seems that you have to manually set the timings.
Thanks for the advice. Manual timings is easy stuff so that's no concern.

Thats a good ram, havent had any problem so far.
From your sig it seems your using them with an i5, I'm looking for reports of any compatibility issues with the ASUS EVO or PII X4 955. However, good to know they work fine with i5. Thank you.
