2x SSDs in 2010 17" MBP?

I just got a brand new 17" MBP. I wanted to upgrade it with 8gb ram and 2x SSDs.

Wondering if fitting it with 2x SSDs is possible or not?

Yup, just pop out the DVD and put in an adapter ($75):

Make sure you go with Sandforce 1200-based SSD's. They have built-in garbage collection functions, which is good since Mac doesn't support TRIM yet. I'd suggest going with OWC's RAID-ready drives if you've got the bucks, since they have more ECC:

I am fairly certain that the newer MacBook Pros (all unibodies) are using 9.5mm optical drives.

So does that hold 2x SSD? It looks like just 1?

right you put one there and then you put the other SSD in your current HDDs position
I doubt you could fit 3 HDDs in a MBP
