Okay, this rig is mostly used to record tv, occasionally video editing, photo editing, and playing all forms of counterstrike.

My question is the 2 cards worth it, or should I just use one?

The X800GTO is actually more powerful than those cards, if I'm not mistaken. I'm getting a little rusty on these old generation cards, but on GTO should be bettter... I think.

And damn! Those 6600s hell cheap!

Those are NON-GT cards.

Pick the X800GTO, especially since it has a chance to unlock.

But you have a PCIe mobo, why are you looking at an AGP card?

For around $150, and PCIe, the 7600GT is a no-brainer choice. It's $140 after rebate from NewEgg.

X850XT for the extra memory bandwidth and the image quality and AA are a bit better

The 7600GT is good if you want a cool card

I know they are non-GTs, that's why I said they are hella cheap. 6600 vanilla usually goes for around $100.

And I would also agree with the X850XT. Since you don't need SM3 to enable HDR in CS:S, then you should get it. Unless you plan to play other games too. 🙂
