That's an incredible find. Expect this one to disappear quickly....
If I had the money I'd have a couple of those on eBay REAL quick ;)

That seems about in line with what the cards/PS would cost seperately. Nice find nonetheless.

Except that at this time, all 6800GTs for PCI-E seem to be running about $500. This is roughly MSRP for all of it, which is a good thing.

I understand what you're saying. It's rather ironic that just the card is seemingly OOS. Especially since the price of the OP is basically the same (per card/PS).

Nice deal..but it looks like it was a mistake. This is what comes up now:

We're sorry, but no information is currently available for that product.

here's what I'm finding now.

Basically
BFG 6800gt + 550W BFG PSU + Doom3 @ $449.99

The features for the card say PCI-Express support and AGP 8X......I don't get it. Which is it? Or is it both at the same time?

"Highly Allocated" availablility...which means OOS.

I think it means that the PSU has PCI-E support and the card is AGP 8x.

Well a Chumbo rep last week said that BFG wouldn't allow them to sell any more PCI-E 6800 GT's until they could fulfill the backorders they already took. I hope this goes through for you, but good luck.

Chumbo always sells their BFG 6800's at retail price. I got mine about a week ago. I believe the PCI-E versions are heavily backordered right now.

that's a really good deal. let's say that the generic 550w PSU was $50. That would mean each card would be costing $400. This is a pretty good price compared to the inflated prices out on the market. nice find but now dead =(

I dunno, based on how the specs read, it seems like that's a better PSU than a generic. So I'd think it would cost more than that. But I could certainly be wrong.

According to their website, the PSU alone goes for $99.99, at least that is what they are selling it for by itself. Mine has been shipped as well! I got the promotional overnight shipping for $5.00, so mine should be here tomorrow! I'll keep you guys posted.
