2x 512 mb ram

i am planning on buying 2x 512mb ram dual channel for my new system.

motherboard: asus a8n-sli deluxe

you guys have any recommendations?. please give me model numbers so i can look them up more easily! thanks.

well that's really hard to recommend unless we know what sort of chip you're getting... and if you want to run 1:1 with loose timings or divider with tighter timings...

chips like the 3000+... if it o/c's well, you will be forced run a divider unless you have good ram with samsung tccd modules which can do 300 mhz+ with low voltage and loose timings

chips like the 3500+ or 3800+... since they have a high mult (11 and 12 respectively) you won't necessarily need mem that can do high speeds... so mem winbond ch-5, bh-5, utt should be good enough for that which will also allow for tighter timings but require higher voltage....

in essence, we need a lot more info on your system...

ok, more info then:
mobo: asus a8n-sli deluxe
processor: amd athlon x2 4200+ or 4400+ (havent decided)
gfx: e-vga pci-e 6600GT
hdd: 2x wd raptor 74gb @ 10k rpm

and i was hoping for pc3200 memory

Why do you want pc3200 memory when you can get higher? What's your price range for a 2x512mb kit of ram?
