2U Chassis PSU Problem... ATX connector too short to reach the board!!!

Conundrum

Senior member
Hey, I'm about to go looking for a PSU that has a cord that would reach. Until now, I've only worked inside of mini, mid, desktop, full, and server cases. I've never before had myself put in a situation where the damn ATX connector cord wouldn't reach the board. Now I'm stuck with a situation where that's EXACTLY the problem I'm having. It was kind of a pain in the ass just to get this proprietary motherboard into the case. Took a little work... but apparently the placement of the ATX connector on the board couldn't be further from the PSU mount. Of course I bought the 2U off of Ebay and the threads on a lot of the damn screw holes were rusted. So one of them actually broke off and I busted the handle on one of my screwdrivers trying to unscrew one of them. This project has proved to be a tremendous pain in the ass. If anyone knows of a PSU that would work well in a 2U case and not cost an arm, a leg, and half of a testicle... that'd be GREAT. Oh, and it has to have a longer than average cord for the ATX power connector. =/
