Building a new HTPS and the HDD I am installing is not being recognized.

Am I doing something obviously incorrect?

I do not even get the OS installed, because Win7 Install says there are not storage devices.

Is this an SSD, or a HDD? On the off chance that you've installed an NVMe M.2 PCI-E SSD, Win7 64-bit does not have NVMe drivers out of the box. You most likely will have to install to a SATA SSD, and then install the NVMe drivers, and then clone the disk to the NVMe SSD.

Or you could just slipstream the drivers/hotfix.
