Anybody know anything about these drives? I've been waiting for the 850 EVO 2TB to come down so I can nab 2 of them. Waiting for them to be ~2x the cost of the 1TB drives vs ~3x, but then saw these on eBay. Never heard of them so I searched for reviews and found nothing. Going to the Newegg Spec page, the 1TB has pretty average ratings, but when you click for the 2TB, it shows only 22k random write, 9k random read.

I use these large drives strictly for games and app storage, so getting the cheapie drives aren't a huge deal, but that seems like a big drop in performance vs the 1TB counterparts. I currently have 3x1TB 840 EVOs so I'm not in a rush, but I am getting pretty filled up, so I do want to upgrade soon.

The price is certainly right on these Mushkin drives, but given their performance numbers are nothing like the 1TB and smaller capacity drives, it makes me not want to risk it without seeing some real-world numbers. Maybe somebody here has seen them in action?

They are using sata bridge chip (with two sm2246) so those specs are indeed correct.

Do you happen to know of any other drives that use a similar setup? If I go with these u would save over $200 at current 2tb SSD prices. Since it will be just storage for games, if the overall speed is going to be similar than the 850 EVO 2tb for loading games/apps, i'll just grab the Mushies.
