Someone keeps erasing my password on my computer.

Is there another way to put another (maybe a non-windows password?)

Who has access to your computer? You could just ask them why they are doing that.

Of course there are ways to prevent them from using your login, such as locking your comp with the screensaver.

Ehh, there's probably another administrator account on the computer.
control panel->administrative tools->computer management->local users and groups->users

its a family computer so right now it could be 1/4 people

if one of your family members is trying to hack into your computer, you've got bigger issues than a password.

Are you a Dad trying to control the kid's access to the computer?

I know that with some BIOS's, you can set a password that needs to be typed in before the computer will start to boot into Windows. Of course, the person that's erasing your password could probably just reset the CMOS then...

Pretty sure someone used my boot disc here to mess with me.

Set all other accounts to limited access, me to admin, and disabled the IDE controller (to avoid people using that bootable CD).

And what about USB drives?
