Buddy of mine has been inspired by my water cooling adventures. Case wise he currently has an Antec 300. I have seen people mount 2x120mm on the front of that case, but that requires removing some hard drive bays. Sadly that isn't an option for him due to the number of hard drives he has.
So we are looking into new cases in the full tower department, that ARE NOT the HAF 932. He would prefer to not have the same case as I do
Budget is about 150, and 3x120mm radiator mounting without modding would be perfect. Most of the google results I found were the HAF 932, super expensive WC cases, or really old posts.
For the watercooling, his goal is silence, he has little interest in overclocking.
Hardware to be wet:
Phenom II X4 955
XFX 5870 (non reference, there are blocks available)
Water Hardware:
CPU block:

VGA block: (depends on the whole EK nickle thing, availability, etc. Basically we are aiming for a full coverage block)

Bay Res/Pump holder

Pump

Fans:

Then various tubing, barbs, and clamps.
Questions I have (Besides the case issue)
1. The MCP655 is a beast of a pump, and if silence is the goal might not be the best choice. The loop is pretty small so maybe I should look into a different less powerful pump? Or spend more, get the adjustable speed MCP655 and he can keep the pump for future upgrades and more complex loops.
2. The fans I selected are the slower speed version of what I have. Not sure if they are the best for a silent build, but 40cfm @ 10dB seems pretty excellent.
3. Quick disconnects? I have never used any, but I plan to since draining my loop is damn annoying and I don't want to put him through that. Recommendations on those?
4. Best radiator? I know the MCR320 is a good radiator for slower fan speeds, but it is also the, "toyota camry of radiators", so recommendations on a better one are appreciated.
