I want to clone my 2nd harddrive. I have a Abit IC7-g max 2. I can get the second harddrive to show up in bios if i totally remove the other drive and make this one the Master. Both are Sata drives and i have one DVDR drive setup IDE master. If enable Raid then it does not boot. I can not auto detect the second harddrive in bios. I'm using Sata 1 plug for Master and Sata 2 for the 2nd harddrive. I do have 4 sata plugins on the mobo.

Ahhh, the motherboard I love to hate :) Look at the chart on page 3-13 of your manual. My guess is that you have a PATA drive occupying the role that you want your second SATA drive to take. Either try Mode 7 or Mode 8, or move your standard PATA drives to the other PATA fitting on the motherboard, or temporarily unplug the PATA drives completely.

edit: expect to need to rearrange your Boot Priority, since enabling Modes 7 or 8 would change the boot drive to IDE-3 or IDE-4.

Either that or maybe one of your drives needs to be jumpered differently as master from what it was as single.
