I just purchased this card for my HTPC and intend to let it do Folding@Home when I'm not using it for other tasks. Wanted to do some light gaming in the living room also, which is why my 9500 GT is getting replaced (it just doesn't cut it playing SFIV or Aion for me).

Anyway, this card has a 6-pin power connector, but the core, shader, and memory clocks are stock Eco type settings. Since it has a load bearing connector, would it be safe to say I could overclock to at least stock GTS 250 settings, or are those cores typically put aside for the non-ECO version of this card? Just curious if anyone has had some fun overclocking one of these.

eco?

I think their fab process for these is refined enough that any chip can fill any segment.
You'll probably be thermally limited.

I didn't have that exact card ,but I had one with only one power connector and it was a great overclocker. 800+ core if I remember correctly.
