2nd display won't work

I'm trying to run two displays off a PC through a KVM. Display 1 works but display 2 gets no signal. As soon as I unplug display 1, display 2 pops right up. If I plug d1 back in it goes off. Computer 2 works fine with both displays.

It's a complicated setup, so here it is:

Both computers are running video out to TWO KVM switches. Both Startech. One is a standard two port running the DVI dual link. The second is a new startech running display port MST 4k at 60hz

Computer 1 has a nvidia 660 gtx
Computer 2 is some sort of quattro - I think a k620.

Display 1 is a Dell 3007 running at 2560 x 1600 over DVI.
Display 2 is a Asus PQ321 running 4k @ 60hz over display port.

I first had a nvidia 970 from gigabyte on computer 1 - it's kinda odd with 6 ports. I found some poor documentation that only 4 ports could be used, the others would shut off automatically. I figured that was what was happening so I swapped to the 660.

Am I missing a setting somewhere?

Check in the nvidia control panel on your computer when both displays are connected through the KVM, you may see that one of them is disabled for some reason.

I have had several issues after a reinstall or driver update where suddenly one of my displays is disabled. It acts in the same manner as you describe.
