I had forgotten this was on. The fact that the democratic nomination seems already cinched and by freaking hillary clinton makes the entire campaign rather uninteresting, I'm afraid.

I'm sure there is lots of "perverted version of islam" type stuff, though.

While I disagree with a lot of Sanders beliefs. I have a gut feeling/sense that he is very honest and a "straight shooter" . Hillary comes off as a phony to me

Does anyone else find it interesting this Democratic debate is officially sponsored by a $30billion corporation?

:D

I think she just slammed him back with the comment that the Nobel prize winner in economics supports her plan during the follow-up question about what specifically Bernie thought she had done that shows she's a pawn of Wall Street.

I doubt it, the overwhelming majority of people don't know who paul krugman is.

Agreed. Overall, I think I like Sanders just a little more, but for some reason, don't think he would be an effective leader.

Considering who that corporation has supported over the years, no, I don't find it interesting.

How do we reconcile such things?
Is there not a younger, stronger, leader who endorses Sander's positions and would generally lead us in that direction?

That's cool.

I just thought the political side that uses this as a wedge issue against the other side, separating corporate interests out of politics, would allow this debate to be in part a gigantic ad for Twitter. I find it interesting :D

Looks to me like the Democrats can't go terribly wrong with any of their three and the
Republicans have only the racist clown barker as a reasonable candidate.

The only thing that matters is ending the influence of the rich and fixing their control of the media.

If you could match that with a candidate that would kill ISIS and secure our border - I'd vote for them. Sadly what I want does not exist, and so any vote is a compromise of values and priorities.

idk, I don't understand why Sanders wants me to vote for someone who'd be outright hostile to Wall St... I kinda care about my investments and retirement accounts and that the financial firms who invest money in my company are able to continue doing so.

90% of the country has zero and/or little investment in Wall street. The majority of which, is their fault concerning a lack of retirement plan contributions. He's just using them as his weapon. You would be surprised what targeting incompetence can work out for you.

You simply can't beat tax advantage accounts. There is zero reason not to invest some money in them over - say - having extended cable... or going to the movies... Neither of which have I had for over 3 years.

As I have told you many times, you are a coward. You want other people to die or be deported so you don't have to fear. But your fear is internal and there is no change outside that can save you from it. You can't just kill Muslims to kill ISIS because that would be a sin, and you can't deport 11 million illegals for the same reason.

My Dad always told me he wanted to be the richest man in the cemetery. Maybe you'll beat him.

If your too weak to want ISIS stopped, then your perfectly happy letting men roll over you.

As for immigration, I didn't say deport. I said secure the border. That's the middle ground between open border and deportation. That action is what stems the massive influx that has diluted our melting pot. With 10s of millions these people don't grow up to be American, they don't live with or live near Americans. The process of assimilation has ground to a halt for a great many of them. The objective of a secure border is to restart that integration process. To get hostile Americans to calm down and accept our new Americans.

But you wouldn't know that would you. Even though I've posted my answer on immigration before. You think of me and shriek in terror at some stereotypical boogieman that haunts you, completely ignorant of the details and the realities of the situation. Much as you seem to want us to ignore a terrorist organization named ISIS.

Ignorance is bliss, isn't it Moonie?

Drudge calls it boring and how it ended 7 minutes early.

Yeah, conservatives don't want media generated fervor - you guys are so full of shit.
