Hi,
Can someone help me in choosing the best videocard I can get for the Asus Striker II? I want to run SLI. Can I run 2 9800's or do i need to run 2 8800's? Also, what power supply wattage and brand do you recommend? Thanks.

1) what do you intend to do with the PC?
2) if gaming, what games?
3) what resolution do you want to play at?
4) most importantly, what is your budget?

I would say get your self a pair of 9600 GT's if ur on a budget!!
A pair of 8800 GT's only if you play on high resolution!!
But the best would be a pair of either 9800 GTX or 8800 GTX "I mean it 8800 GTX scale quite good no matter if 9800 GTX is new"

As for the power supply either get a Real Power Pro 550W for the 9600's or Real Power Pro 750W for 8800 GT's or Real Power Pro 850W for the 9800 GTX's/8800 GTX's

BTW sorry have only used cooler master power units from day one..."They are they only real good brands in India"

Hi,
Thanks for responding. I will use pc for multi purpose, but I want to build it around gaming. I play Call of Duty 4 mainly. Resolution is 1920 x 1200 and i have no limit on what I will spend (within reason). Thanks.

Wait a month and pick yourself up one of the new GeForce or Radeon cards that are supposed to launch next month. If you absolutely need a card right now, get yourself an EVGA 8800GT and use EVGA's step up when the new cards launch.
