Hmm... I can't drive all the way out to port moody. What a shame I missed the one last year, it was only a few blocks from my house.

Why not Ryan!? If you hit the Barnet Hwy. it's not that far at all! It's also right on a major bus route, and not far from the skytrain.

Look into it some more...before you say no. 🙂

I'm not telling you my real name, so I guess I can't go...

Hmm... 371 final is 4 hours away... I guess I should start studying for it now.

Yeah Port Moody is kinda far, esp since I live in Richmond...

I missed the one last year and wanna come this time, but it's just kinda far...

Well I live on the far far far west side (literally 15 blocks from Jeremiahs) and I'm really not interested in driving my car (for fear of being broken into) out there and I don't want to take public transit.

Port Moody on a Saturday evening is 20-25min from downtown.

And downtown is 20-25 min from Port Moody...

Bet that just blew your mind eh?

Heck... I will be downtown at 6pm, but it's not a big deal to hop in the truck and listen to some tunes while
driving to PoMo 😀

w00t!!!

Cecil it is then!!! 🙂

Or Brandi's, NBI, Paramount...

Brandi's = $$$

Cecil, or maybe the No. 5 Orange (rated by Playboy as being the best strip club in North America 5 years ago was it?) 🙂

Well then all you smart a$$es, that think PoMo is the break in capital of the lower mainland and right next to Mission...you plan it....It got dumped into my lap, and last year too! So we planned it for downtown, last year, and everyone that was there, lived in the tri-cities say for maybe 2 people!! So I figure hey no one wants to plan it, but everyone wants to come, so I'm making it close to my house!

So I'm officially done planning...you guys figure it out.😛

Thanks for organising 🙂

But like I told you the other day........... I have a house warming to go to 🙁

Driving from Southlands to Port Moody is a long drive for me :Q

Have fun everyone 😀

Go Canucks Go!!! 😀 😀 😀

Cheers,
Aquaman

:wine: For Sealy 😀

Ain't organising a biotch 😉 I feel your pain. I have a lot of respect for people who organise events because if no one organises them then nothing happens. I really hate it when the whiners come out & complain 😛

Thanks again Sealy 😀

Cheers,
Aquaman

Thank you Silverpig and Aquaman...I appreciate your sentiment. But when I asked for input on where we should hold this thing, I got the Cecil and Brandi's...so I kinda figured I was'nt going to get much help!!

Now that I actually pick a place, a place may I remind you that is safer than parking your car downtown, and that offers 99 cent beer for each Canuck goal, and a prime rib special on hockey nights, everyone is complaining about how far it is!

So if it is really too far...then other than picking a place downtown, give me a more central location. One that's close to skytrain and a bus route, for those who don't have cars.
