2mb or 8mb hdd?

hey guys.. just wondering.. is a 8mb cache hdd really woth the $$?

Ie, i can get a 120 gig 2 mb cache drive for $80.

The same hdd with a 8mb cache is going for $120.

Whta does the extra cache really do...shave a few seconds off transfer times..its not like i cant wait a few extra seconds.

If the hard drive going to contain the OS, then its worth it. If its only for storage then get the 2mb.

You hardly will notice the difference, use the extra $$$ you save on a better video card🙂.

A good feature on these forums to learn about is the search button. Typing "8mb" into the search box will find you, among others:

...though in this case it's probably much more detail than you care about 🙂
