Maybe hot, maybe not- but it is a tasty treat.

I was at Sam's Club the other day and ran across this huge 2lb rice crispie treat for 2 bucks. Best part was my wife didn't have to make it.

Sounds like a lot of rice crispie treats, now to see if they'll actually last. For $2.00 that's a steal.

How many boxes of Rice Krispies does it take to make a 2lb treat? Does this mean that the treat itself is actually worth more than a box of rice crispies itself, but for a lower price? Wow... people might start microwaving the treats, harvesting the Krispies and selling it in cereal form for more $$$! Reminds me of when pennies were worth 3 cents in copper. Still, this deal seems sweet! :)

was that one of those 11x17 "foodservice" slabs? or just 2lbs of the human-being sized ones in boxes?

This might be the Rice Crispie Treat Cake thing I saw there once. They have instructions on decorating it with icing for a birthday cake... Dunno... Maybe SRman will fill us in!

The R.C.T. is one huge 2lb treat. It has the two monsters from the new pixar? Monsters Inc. movie on the front. The Sam's I shop at is in Lynchburg, Virginia. I need to get more the first two only lasted a couple of days.

woolfee,

I hardly ate any, but my 4 oldest children went through them without blinking. Next time I will buy one and hide it. :)

That's a big rice crispie treat, so hungry after reading these food posts. Darn Papa Johns doesn't deliver here and Sam's Club is 2 hours away.

MMMMm I love Rice crispie treats! Is this made by Kellogs or a generic brand? I like the individually wrapped ones too! :)
