If you want these two operating systems to work properly, NTFS is the way to go. And you wont have any problems or loss in performance in games, i assure you.

NTFS.

P.S. Do a search in this forum for ntfs and you get a ton of replies. Lots of good info.

Perhaps it would be a good idea for you to RTFF (Read The Fine FAQs)...

...here.

This question has been asked many times over. NTFS is clearly superior, and does not degrade performance. Use FAT32 only if you need read/write compatibility with Linux or *BSD (Linux can read NTFS, but can't write to it reliably).

FAT32 is for children and people who refuse to use a modern OS. Why would you even consider it with its lack of stability and security?

Geez, you must be complaining about me pointing him to the FAQs to get his answer. What's wrong with that? It's not like I'm mad at him, after all; maybe he didn't know where the FAQs were. Now he does, and he has a good answer to his question. I don't see how your complaint was grounded in reality - unless it was kind of a way for you to say (in disguise) that you disagree with us and prefer FAT32. If that's the case, then please present the claims for your argument, and we'll have a reasonable and flameless debate on the topic.

No , of course NTFS is better.

I don't have a problem pointing to the FAQ, I'll just shut my mouth.

1. The benefit of NTFS over FAT32 should be obvious to everyone with half a brain.
2. There has been a FAQ on this for quite a while.
3. The FAQs are linked at the top of every forum pages, plus pimped out in several sigs.
4. This question has been asked too many times to count and should be a bannable offence.
