So i found some kingston 2 gb ram for pretty cheap, around 150 bucks.
I was wondering, is this worth it? i game and the only thing that annoys me are load times.
Should i get a better hdd or 2 gb of ram? thats the dilemma

Current Rig -
Amd X2 3800+ stock
1gb of ram
100 gb maxtor hdd... i know maxtor :(
6800 gs pci-e

So with 150 bucks what should i do?
PS. For the HDD i was thinking of the Seagate 320 gb that newegg always has for sale

So basically i wanted to know which one would make my load times shorter?
I play COH and that takes forever to load.

oh yeah i forgot to add that i currently have 2 512 sticks and they are running dual channel and i would like the 2 gigs to be 2 1gig sticks so i could run those in dual channel too.
and for the ram type ... its DDR not DDR2. Siorry i forgot to mention this

I found the x2 3800 unbearably slow at stock speeds. I would go for the ram, then oc the x2 at least a little!

What model is the HDD?

I'd be inclined to look at your disk for load times. The 2Gb would help, I think, but a high quaility HDD would have more impact.

What's your mobo and the HDD model?

my mobo would be an ECS A939 :( lol
I'm not sure what the model is. Is there a way to check?
I think that the 3800 is fast enough for me without being oc'ed

PS. The HDD is about 4 years old.
