I currently have 2 GB of 800 in DC. I also have 2 spare stick of 667 sitting away and I am about to set up vista 64. since both sets will be in dual channel will the 4gb at slower clock speeds work faster than the 2 gbs of 800? Yes I do use alot of open programs.

Yeah 4GB memory speeds isn't that important these days... DDR2-667 is effecty the lowest stuff they are producing in mass these days.

4 GB DDR2-667. 2 GB of ram is the minimum you should have today in any pc and 4 GB to be future proof and not have to worry about ram for a while.

vista runs really well with 1gb ram plus a $20 1gb stick of readyboost flash. no games really though, but for people that dont game i would have no problem recommending 1gb as long as they have a good readyboost drive. of course if you have that video card he does then theres nevertoomuchram

they say you should equal your turboflash with your ram, but im not too sure how much better it would be with 4gb of system ram anyway. of course, they also say if you have 2gb ram it wont make much difference either, but thats flat out wrong. i notice a huge difference.

and corsair has the new flash voyager GT's out now, for CHEAP. a 4gb model i think is $50, and 8gb is even 100. and they should be even faster then the turboflash's.
