2gb ATi 5xxx series?

Has there been any word on 2gb versions of the 5xxx cards? I'd love to get my hands on one of those. Yes I know the benefits are minimal now, but I think having the extra memory in the long run helps keep the card useful for longer. My 8800GTS 640mb version has been excellent these last 2.5 years, but now it is starting to show its age for Half Life 2 Cinematic Mod and some other modern games.

I am also waiting for the 2GB version. My main impetus for looking at the 5870 is for triplehead gaming (replacing my current softTH method), so I might actually make use of the extra RAM at 5760x1200.

Also waiting for the 2GB cards. Had my finger on the trigger last night when the NDA was lifted.
