2d with Kyro2 (Herc 4500)?

How good is 2D? Using a Hercules TNT2 right now. Considering changing it. Bought a really nice Sony G200 FD Trinitron recently so I want really good 2D to match.
 
I'm happy with the 2D on my Herc 4500.Text is cleaner and colors are more vibrant compared to my old CL 32mb GTS.
