2D: Intel HD4400 vs HD4600?

Hi

Is it fair to say that, for 2D applications, Intel Haswell's HD 4400 performs just as well as HD 4600?

Yes. For desktop use I can't think of any normal situation in which a 4600 would be appreciably faster, especially given the fact that the only difference between the two is a slight difference in clockspeed.

Yea they both have 20pipelines so only difference if the 4400 is for lower power system so it does not speed up as much.

With the caveat that if you're building a hackintosh, the 4400 will make your life interesting.
