2D Floorplan Freeware

Just moved into a new place and want to draw a quick floorplan with door/window locations and measurements. Don't need/want a 3d rendering. Just want a simple 2d, from above floorplan. Are there any freeware software apps out there for this sort of thing?

Sketchup

It's 3D, but it's really no more complicated than a 2D drawing.

Ultimately I want to print a set of plans that show measurements so I can take it with me to furniture stores etc. Does Sketchup allow this? I find the 2d view best for this use.
