2900xt Reviews - compilation

With all the inconsistency we see in benchmarks at the very least we can say the 2900xt is not a clear winner over the GTS. It's definitely not a failure, unless you are talking overall performance crown.
Not sure if inconsistencies arise from hardware compatibility, drivers, game or driver settings or just human error.
But they are there and the 2900xt isn't a clear choice in all games, settings vs GTS (even320).

I think the 2900xt is a good choice, but expect Nvidia to drop the GTS $50, then I don't know if i would go 2900xt.

This card apparently does better in certain games with certain settings. Then there is the hope of driver maturity unlocking more potential, but Nvidia has mentioned customers will be pleased with it's upcoming drivers, seemingly hinting performance.

Lastly, i want to plead on behalf of AMD...Please buy this card we need people with brand loyalty to help AMD/ATI out, seriously we need them to continue in this game on GPU and CPU fronts. 😉
