Newegg: Ordered Monday, took until thursday to finally ship my 290's. Dissapointed with them.

Hmm, hopefully the 290 will be back in stock when the custom ones come out and I decide to order one :/

It's not just GPUs. I think that Newegg just got swamped with orders from their Cyber Monday sales.

Yeah I think that is it... I ordered my GPU from them two weeks ago and things went smooth. Ordered a keyboard over Thanksgiving break and while it shipped Monday, it is being delivered today even though I had ShopRunner 2-day shipping...

Is it easy to overclock the R9 280x? I'm actually able to grab them for cheap from my work but it's a powercolor stock clock one.. I could grab the HIS IceQ for $20 more.. Would That be worth it?

Seems my card is in Newegg packaging limbo though I ordered it before noon-PST. If I don't have it Saturday I'm asking for credit for the rush processing and 1-day shipping.

Purchased mine on the 30th and they just printed the Fex-ex label today, it's not even at Fed-ex yet.

I think they're getting blasted, tons of stock is gone, most cards are way over priced, PSU OOS... 670 DC2 was $200 before black friday, now its like $270, or msi ref $355....

I just went looking for a few parts and a new video card and there is basically nothing it's like walking into a going out of business store on the last day they're open.

It looks like anything from 7950's, 7970's, R9 280x and R9 290/X's are being snapped up for litecoin mining. All the local stores which usually have plenty of stock on these cards are sold out and only really have comparable cards from NVIDIA. Saw a local classified ad where a guy was willing to buy any of the above, including 6000 series AMD cards.

Got an email from newegg last night apologizing for the long processing times and promising refunds for any rush processing fees. They say due to overwhelming volume of orders from BF/CM. Ordered a 7970 and r9 270 on Monday that have yet to ship......

I was saying newegg is slow as molasses processing orders on GPU's for some reason.

This I ordered cards on black friday, I think 1 of them I paid the rush order process and shipping, the others I didn't and it finally shipped out today. Was in packaging status for 4 days, then shows shipped but didn't move for a couple of days, didn't even get to Fedex facility for a few days.

I checked this morning, my label was printed yesterday so the status changed to shipped but it hasn't hit Fedex either. Here's hoping for Monday at this point.
