28 Weeks Later

This looks good. I loved the first one and I'm not usually into the zombie thing. This looks like a slicker and higher budget version of the first one.

Link

The running zombies makes things scarier but it seems like the rest of the world should just nuke the sht out of that island

Also coming is Resident Evil: Extinction. Looks cheesy, but probably will be good fun. Another one coming is Hot Fuzz, by the same crew that made Shaun of the Dead. Looks good, even if it's not a zombie movie...

I don't want to read the link because I don't want to know anything about it until I go to see it, lest I be disappointed and forever curse sequels, but that sounds almost like Jurassic Park: The Lost World already.

Hot Fuzz has been out in the UK for a few weeks now, and I must say it is god-damn hilarious. If you liked Shaun of the Dead, you'll really like it. And it has a bunch of UK comedians we'd recognise too like Bill Bailey. Highly recommended.

Eh..I'll maintain cautious optimism. I loved the first, but it was so good because of Alex Garland (writer) & Danny Boyle (director) IMO, neither of which has anything to do with this one.

I dunno...the first one was great because it was low budget. This looks like its going to be another hollywood mess than gets the idea but misses the point.

Danny Boyle and Alex Garland are the Executive Producers of the sequel. I'd hardly say that have nothing to do with it.

oops, didn't see that on imdb. Still, I don't put much weight in executive producers influencing a film.n Cautious optimism maintained.
