Watched it last night. It is more artsy fartsy than your typical zombie flick. I'd give it a 6 on a 10 scale. But, I really enjoyed Resident Evil so take my opion with a grain of salt.

I kind of liked it, too. Better than most horror movies. Could've gone without seeing the guy's member at the beginning of the movie, though. 😛

I thought that was one of the best scenes 😀

I just downloaded this on divx. Man this movie was crappy. I was bored to tears and was tempting to turn it of many of times.

Bad Acting.
Bad Scrpit.
Bad picture.
Not enough action.

Oh well....next up....Charlie's Angles: Full throttle. 😀

loved it. covered stuff you just don't see in horror movies. things you'd expect to happen. the biggest being his
loss of all fear and consumption by his live or die instinct. that was a beautiful aspect. disease was fearsome. all the characters all had a sort of mistrust for each other.

people I saw it with that didn't like it were too overwhelmed with small details. Like, why didn't he use the abandoned mercedes/bmw to get the hell out of there? They missed the whole point.

I, for one, enjoyed the movie. It wasn't the best movie of all time by any means, but it certainly wasn't the steaming pile of poo most of the critics here would have you believe. This movie was much deeper than your average hack and slash horror movie, since it actually had a believable plot :Q

It DIDN'T have a believable plot, flyermax2k3 - but you're right abotu something. It isn't your average hack and slash horror movie. The problem with people who didn't like it mostly is that they were expecting a hack and slash movie and were dissapointed because it wasn't the type of movie they wanted to be seeing, so they think it sucked. I thought the same thing at first, I watched it and I was laughing while my gf was clinging to me. Thinking back, I see why it was a 'good' movie, although it's not the type of movie I like really. I can appreciate it though.

So boring, so lame, so CRAPPY! :|

thank you!
i love zombie movies but it was cliche and stupid. flat characters all around, female character destroyed by her emotions and a cop-out ending.

just stupid.

on to other problems: it tried very hard to follow in the footsteps of zombie classics and failed. it tried to create interesting dynamic but just ending up producing trite characters that we barely got to know long enough to care if they lived of died. the book has potential but as a movie it certainly took a pass at looking at any of the interesting moments that good zombie movies really try and examine: the survival instinct, the endless struggle with oneself and the fear of ones own mortality being the destructive force of loved ones. (among others)

agreed. Good Film. 7.5/10

The film was shot on DV so when you blow it up the res is going to show its failings.....

I liked the film.

My friend plays one of the zombies running up the stairs when they get owned by the father! lol. Going to hassle him about getting owned by the father. I've seen some pictures of him in h is makeup and such for that scene. Looks dam good.

Now I'll go and rip it out of him 😀

How was the movie not believable? I agree, that no virus can screw a person up in 10-20 seconds, but otherwise it was quite believable. Small pockets of people, etc. I found the movie quite well done, but I love post-apocolyptic movies. As long as mad max IV is in the road warrior spirit and not mad max beyond crapperdome then MM IV will smoke my ass next summer.

KoingThat scene was awesome!

Oh I see.

When I found this thread I thought you wrote it but you were the last one that replied in it.

I thought it was pretty good, but the ending would have been better and more believable if the jet had come back around on another pass and dropped some napalm on the survivors. I mean, come on, a virus of this magnitude, there would definately be a scorched earth philosophy in place, anything that moves, burn it.
