I've seen the movie (28 Days Later). It's really creepy and suspenseful.
The first part is really errie. Any scene that features a person walking along in a city that appears to be deserted just gives me the creep.

On a side note, I just ordered The Eye. I saw the preview on Apple.com and that is one freaky movie. It's kinda like Sixth Sense -- Asian style.

 
I remember an old movie from the 80's in which everyone dissapeared in one night except for this one kid because he was in one of those special photo development rooms so the sun or whatever didn't kill him. And there was a chick that survived, too. And some half-living people that needed to kill living people for their body parts. And an underground research lab or something that had air vents coming out in the desert. Or something like that...

But having the zombies try to kill Sandra Bullock was a nice touch.
