2700k or wait for IB?

Hey guys so I'm a little torn right now. I want to upgrade my CPU and mobo but I'm trying to decide if it's honestly worth it to wait for the IB platform to come out or just grab myself a 2700K. I saw that the 2700K can OC to 5.2ghz (think it was ibuypower that has a rig with one for sale), and from what I've understood so far about IB it will be more energy efficient and maybe 10% faster or something to that extent? What do you guys think? I had said before I'd wait but I'm starting to think twice now lol.
