I'm setting up this TNT2 on a friend's pc, replacing a Banshee. Just benchmarked in 3dmark 2000 (not 2001) and it score 2700-2750, is it an ok score for that card? I can't login in the 3dmark database so please tell.
Thanks.

About right. But depending on CPU. TNT2Ultra can do about 3000-3500 with a fast 800MHz+ CPU.

You guys obviously has problems. Even my OLD Voodoo3 2000 makes 28xx in 3dmark2000. I remember my TNT2Ultra does about 33xx. Both runs on a P3/818 CPU (overclocked 700). I cannot redo the comparison now since I sold both the cards but I saved the voodoo3 benchmark. I lost the TNT2ultra bench tho. But definately 3000+.

http://gamershq.madonion.com/compare.shtml?1646286 <- 2851 Voodoo 3 2000 AGP.

Hell the TNT2Ultra is somewhat faster than the V3 in 3dmark2000. Much faster at Quake3.

Just to make sure he is going about 3dmark2000 NOT 2001.

Overclocking your AGP bus is probably giving you that edge performance wise in 3DMark2k1. Of course, it's not the best for your system either ;)
