Sorry if this is a repost, but it's HOT! I bought it at 799 a few months ago, it's awesome!

Specs from their website:
SyntaxGroups 27" LCD

Looks like there might be a newer version of their 27" LCD soon.

Yes. This is more of a TV than a computer monitor (I don't know why some people think it should be one). I have one and for the price am very happy with it. My only complaint is that the "zoom" mode stretches the picture - so unless you watch 4:3 TV in "pillarbox" (with the black bars on either side) there is no way to avoid people looking fat. But I have it in my bedroom hanging on the wall (Wall mount: $75 or so) and for casual viewing it is great. I haven't actually gotten around to hooking up hidef to it, but do have a progressive DVD player hooked up which looks fantastic. Sound is not incredible but definitely adequate - although I think mine came from the factory with the polarity out of phase on the speakers (and in fact I remember noticing this in the store as well) so I had to flip one of them.

I have no problems with this monitor. I have used it for both PC and TV. I have
a high def feed into and the HD box lets me not force 4:3, instead using black or
grey bars to display instead.

There is only one problem with sound, as far as I'm concerned; and that is that
the lowest 3 settings on volume go from MUTE, WHISPER, NORMAL. There is
not enough low end difference to allow me to watch this really late at night. Either
I can't hear everything perfectly because it's too low, or it's too loud and bothers
others.

Picture quality is excellent (not the BEST mind you, but hell, it's $700 bux, what do
you expect), and there is some noticeable ghosting (like during these NBA playoffs).
Color tone and contrasts seem to differ from channel to channel, but that is probably
attributed to the box and not the TV.

GOod lUck!

I've had it since the black friday sale, am using it mainly as my computer monitor. play different types of games on it.. also works as my bedroom tv. Analog tv could be better, hdtv seem to be sharper, better on the older firmware with the older white slim remote. still waiting for my 300 rebate though.. otherwise no complaints about it. so if theres no rebate, its a good deal.
