27" monitor with powerful built in speakers?

This is for my wife, she's a school teacher so her desk space is limited. She's wants a 27" monitor with powerful speakers because sometimes she needs to show the screen to her students. Her budget is US $500-$700.

I found the Dell UZ2715H (2 x 5W speakers) and Asus MX27AQ (2 x 3W speakers).

Before I hit the buy button, is there anything better?

My old Asus had great speakers, but they just dont make them with good speakers these days.

ou don't want the 3W speakers. Look for 5W or above preferably - and positioned toward the front, not coming out the back (most are out the back through tiny vents).

Most likely she'd be best off buying a set of cheap desktop speakers (walmart has some decent ones for $11) so that she can position them toward the class when needed.
