So what are you guys saying here? Are you saying that I just purchased a trumotion LG 120Hz TV to use specifically as a monitor and if I make a profile with 120hz on the Nvidia control panel that it will not work? Because I bought the 120hz TV for this very purpose. Then I noticed by default it runs in 60Hz. So if I change this to 120 will it not work?

Petey!: You mean like all the Mitsu DLP TV's? Oh wait lets look at the spec sheet: http://www.mitsubishi-tv.com/pdf/specsheet-WD-73837.pdf

Yeah not all of them. I'm pretty sure all "3D" TVs @1080p take a 24hz signal split between both eyes, as opposed to monitors thats do 60hz each eye.

I don't think any HDMI ports do 60hz each eye yet. Not sure where the limitations is VS duallink DVI.

BTW I could be totally wrong on the whole might be some DLPs out there that can do 120hz input, I just assumed it would be much like CRTs, even tho it's a different tech... and I probably am.

Exactly, all that you "120hz" TV does is take a 60hz signal and mess with the frames to give you 120hz. It can't accept a 120hz signal the way a 120hz monitor can
