266 FSB or 200?? (for an older board)

Hi..
Have not posted in a spell.

CPU gone (I guess) on my MSI Pro2. All 4 LEDS red.

This board designed for a 200 FSB CPU. Can I use a 266 CPU, and later get a newer board to use the 266 FSB?? I know that I cannot use the new XP units, but am thinking about the 1.33 Athlon.

Am now using Duron 650 (721).
