266 fsb on 200 mobo?

I am looking into getting a new processor and mobo but i dont have to money for both right now and i want to know if a athlon with a 266 fsb will work on a mobo that only supports a 200mhz bus?

Yes it will work. It'll run at 100FSB though.

That's what you s/b getting with that Epox EP-8K7A in your signature. To answer the original question, you can run a 266 MHz FSB T-bird below spec at 200 MHz no problem at all.
