266 DDR + MSI K7 Master

I just bought the ms6341 for my Tbird 1ghz. I think this board only supports 200mhz for the DDR....can I put 266 in there? Will it simply fallback to 200 ? Like pc133 does on most boards that only support pc100 ??

Yes, your ram will just run at the 100 mhz fsb speed (200 mhz DDR of course).

It supports both 200 and 266.

The MSi K7 Master v1.0 is "officially" 200Mhz only.
The K7 Master v1.1 is 200 or 266Mhz.

266Mhz RAM will run just fine at 200Mhz.
