260GTX SLI Overclock Help

So Google usually doesn't let me down, but I am stumped here. From reading, I am getting very conflicted information on if/how I can overclock my GTX 260's when they are activated as in SLI. I got my step-up from EVGA and it was a SSC version at a higher clock than my other card (standard). The faster card is in the primary PCI express slot, but the control panel will not let me adjust anything other than the GPU2's fan speed.

What am I doing wrong? Do I just need to OC the first card and the other matches, or will they always run at the slowest speed? If I can overclock both, how do I do it?

I am sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but I couldn't find anything exactly like this here on AT either.

Please! Help me out!

FYI - running Vista 64 bit and the latest drivers of 181.22

Hmm, what program are you using to OC the card(s)? Also, are you trying to OC them to the same speeds, or different speeds? (not sure if the latter is possible.)
Also, if you cant figure this out here, try the EVGA forums. People there are seem very knowledgeable about nvidia products. Jacob also has a good OCing guide for the i7.

In order to use both cards in windows, you must make sure that you "extend" your 2nd card. To do this, right click on your desktop and go to the properties area and make sure that your 2nd card is reconized to your desktop. You also may have to use a "DVI" connector or ( DVI Dummy ) on your second card and make it think you have a second Monitor, if you haven't one already. To set up the second "DVI" connector, go Here. Make sure you have SLI set in your Nvidia control panel and use EVGA Precision to OC your cards. In Sli, it should OC both at the same time.

Use Rivatuner. It overclocks both cards in SLI.
