2600+ Retail Barton locked

I just picked up the Shuttle AN35N mobo and 2600+ Retail barton combo for ~$150. Took the unlocked OEM 2600+ (0317) out, popped this puppy in (0344), and even though the multiplier was set to 12, it booted at 11.5. So I upped the fsb to 200 (PC2700, so 4:5 ratio), and instant 3200+ (11.5x200). This is in a Epox 8RDA+, not the shuttle board, and at stock voltages all round.

Actually 11.5x200 would be like an XP3300 or XP3400... the XP3200 is 11x200.

i wanna bump my unlocked 2500+ to 11.5 and see if i can get it stable. if it works, ill be happy.

right now it stands as 11x200

Jeff's got it right. 11.5x200 would be 2300mhz, or 33mhz higher than what AMD would call a 3300.

anybody knows the stepping for the 2600, which ones are OC'able and which are locked??

Pretty much anything manufacturer after week 40 will be locked.
