I have a question, This is my first M/B upgrade on windows xp. Do i have to call microsoft for the upgrade ?

Wow, and they're in stock! Read this though:

EDIT: I emailed Newegg about the typo. That's the second error of theirs I've told them about today. They had the picture of the Athlon XP logo by a T-bird CPU:Q I hope they send me a T-shirt or something cool😀

AFAIK there wasn't a 2700+ planned with the 266MHz bus. I'm guessing this is a cut-&-paste oversight and they're 333MHz.

Confirmed... the core code ends with "D" 😀 Thems are 333MHz-bus! edit: or that's what the photo shows, anyway. The text for the 2700+ item listing has it ending with a "C." 😕

Strange that if it were a copy and paste problem that the 2600+ would still be showing correctly.

Side rant: One of my biggest beefs with Newegg is their lack of a consistent naming scheme. It never ceases to amaze me how many different ways they can name those CPUs

BTW, anyone know what kind of SETI times you can get on those?

I would image VERY good times if paired with the nForce2 MoBo's... The Dual 128BIT deal is actually proving to be for real so far in the bench tests.. :Q
