Buy the 26" Olevia Syntax LCD TV at Amazon.com for roughly $750, apply the $125 MIR. You'll pay for shipping and tax, if applicable ($20 S&H and $70 tax for WA state). HSN.com claims HDTV Display Ready (480i, 480p, 720p, 1080i), 750:1 contrast, XGA 1280 x 768 native resolution, 12ms response, 700 cd/m2 brightness, PIP split screen capability, VGA and DVI (HDCP compatible) inputs.

am considering getting a syntax olevia 26" or 30" or 32"

The question is about resolution. (since we will be watching video over the internet). My computer has the nvidia 6600 graphics card. Which has resolutions of 1280 x 1024, 1280 x 768 and 1280 x 720 etc

The 26" & 30" olevia have resolution of 1280 x 768 ( which is supported by the 6600)
The 26" has 12ms response time and 30" has 16ms response time.

The 32" resolution is 1,368 x 768 which is not an option with 6600. It has fast 8ms response time, which is ideal for video. (We now watch it on our SAMSUNG 715N which has the same 8ms response time, which is pretty good but has no DVI)

Those who have this 32" and use it as a monitor, please suggest me if I should go for 32" or 30" or 26" .

Thanks to all who help me with this.
